Japan to hold 1st large-scale military drills with US & France amid China Sea tensions 2021/04/23 - RT - Starting May 11th, Japan & US will hold their first joint training drills with France. US & Japan regularly train as members of the QUAD with India & UK. France will be joining them in simulating a land invasion of Japan, the Philippines, or Taiwan. European nations have recently gotten more aggressive with China as France, Germany and the UK have all sent Navy ships through the South China Sea to protect the sovereignty of Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, etc. China could perceive this as France's willingness to invade China in the event they attacked Japan, South Korea, Taiwan or any other rivals.
