"Intro to Fake News"
For Years, there has been a concentrated effort by an elite group of corporations to influence the minds of millions with controlled media.
Worldwide, Billions of people get the majority of their news from the same sources. More often than not, something will be worldwide news on all outlets, while something equally or even more newsworthy will be severely under reported or completely ignored altogether. This is an embarrassing attempt at being a free neutral press who have no opinion on the matter, just stating the facts, and letting you make up your own opinion through critical thinking.
Nowadays, the news is mostly opinion based, severely lacking on facts, and politically charged towards or against one party or another. Quotes are taken out of context, completely fabricated, anonymous sources are made up by news anchors, outright lies are repeated every day and yet the news media hardly ever apologize or recant anything.
This phenomenon is called Fake News. It's not actually news, its one or more corporations' politically charged propaganda, their personal opinion, that they would like you to think is fact, and is a belief shared by the general public, not just that corporation. Sources don't exist, third-parties who weren't present are used as 'eyewitnesses' or 'expert character witnesses" every day. Every news outlet has their own special experts and analysts who "specialize" in repeating whatever agenda the news outlet is pushing. All while real witnesses who were present are ignored and discredited, because their factual stories do no match the agenda.
Distrust of the news media and official government stories by the general public is nothing new. The modern blatant Fake News Era is fairly recent, a 2000s occurrence. However, less obvious Fake News can be traced back to the 1970's at the very least. When President Trump declassified thousands of JFK Documents in 2017, TruthBombs went out worldwide. The CIA openly admitted, it had agents working as media outlets in newspapers and TV, to influence the American public to accept the findings of the Warren Commission, the Lone Gunman theory. Most evidence suggested more than one shooter, more than one weapon, a broad international conspiracy to remove JFK and Castro and provoke war with the Soviet Union were under way.
At long last it has been revealed that Lee Harvey Oswald was an FBI Agent who went undercover as an Anti-Castro CIA Agent, to expose the US Government's involvement in international elections and acts of terrorism. Oswald learned of the plot to kill the President and reported to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and word got back to the CIA. The CIA risked being exposed and expedited their pl ot to kill JFK, used Oswald as the scapegoat to discredit him, and then had him killed immediately inside of the jail as he told live news reporters he was a scapegoat.
Long story short, the general public didn't buy the Government's official story, even Congress didn't believe it, hence the Warren Report. The CIA used agents as news media to sway the public against conspiracy theories/conspiracy facts, and to accept the fact that it wasn't Russia, or Cuba, or the Mob, or a pack of Communists, or a Government Operation. This is declassified information publicly available that will be viewable on TruthBomb2020 eventually.
It's time for the public to accept the fact that your news is controlled and manipulated by the Government and Billion-Dollar Corporations. It has been admitted by the Government that they controlled the news as far back as 40 year ago. #WakeUp from the #SunkenPlace.
Flash Forward to 2020, one of the most popular Fake News anchors in America, Andersen Cooper of CNN, interned with the CIA, of which he has no comment. Same Stink, Different Stain. We were once a culture of little to no technological usage, 3 local TV Channels, thriving newspaper industries, landline telephones that were attached to the wall, public pay phone booths on every corner, a time when you knew your neighbor and every kid on your block because you all enjoyed the same activities, together, as a community.
We progressed into a technology obsessed people gradually from the early 1980's to the late 90's, then the Internet era blew the roof off. A desire for more outlets than your local ABC, CBS, NBC and your city's newspaper, led to Cable TV. Cable companies needed channels and programs to convince the public to buy their product. Dozens of National/International Cable Channels popped up overnight such as MTV (Music Television), Nickelodeon, HBO, Showtime, but most importantly, 24 hour Cable News. Also, all those extra channels meant extra paid commercial time. Eventually, there would become so many channels they began to compete with each other for viewership ratings, which are used to demand a higher price for their commercial time.
In Atlanta, GA, Ted Turner, owned WTBS, the Superstation, a local outlet which featured a very popular wrestling promotion GCW (Georgia Championship Wrestling) that went Nationwide in the early 80's during the Rock'N'Wrestling boom in the early 80's. He was the first local outlet to go Nationwide and he saw enormous potential, he began purchasing Hollywood Classics and came up with Turner Classic Movies. His next venture was CNN (Cable News Network). For the first time, Americans in any city could get Nationwide news all day and night. No more perfect timing hoping you caught the first 2 minutes of your local news for National occurrences. Now you could be in California, and watch a 2 hour News program debating an issue in NYC that might not have even made Cali news.
Having only one source of the National News, gave the "powers that be" the option to influence the whole country at once rather than one city at a time. Dangerous Grounds lay ahead. Rival news networks popped up as alternate viewpoints on National News. NBC and MicroSoft founded MSNBC as a joint Venture. Rupert Murdoch's Newscorp which owned 20th Century Fox, and Wall Street Journal, Daily News, NY Post, The Sun (UK) and The Times (UK), started Fox News. Along come Headline News, CNBC, Bloomberg, you name it, there's easily 25 well known National Cable News outlets. BBC (UK) became available on US Cable. International News on the US, that wasn't controlled by the US was in high demand, and still is today.
The technological era advanced to cordless phones, and pagers, and eventually flip phones, so you could have technology in your pocket, never leave home without it. It soon became impossible to escape new technology. Landlines disappeared, as did phone booths. Smart Phones were created to provide you 24-7 direct access to the Internet, live in your pocket. The Internet that was once a dial-up, text-based, media free Military communications network, expanded a million times over, and High-Speed Internet evolved into Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi). Soon people were watching movies on their pocket device while sitting in school or at work. The Internet became addictive, and has not regressed from that point, one bit.
Pocket Devices turned into GPS-Tracking devices, and manipulation tools. You need to use more electricity to charge devices overnight, to power your internet, to power your cable box, your smart fridge, etc. Electrical companies have profited billions compared to the electrical usage of the 1970's. Today, if the power went out for 24 hours, most people would be completely lost without their phone. It has replaced their brain, it thinks for them and tells them what to think, and even worse what to say to other people to make them think like you do, the government sheep. Social Media platforms began popping up everywhere. Facebook was created to stay in touch with classmates after College, then evolved into a blend of Twitter, YouTube & Instagram, where people share brief messages, music videos, and pictures of their cat.
Facebook evolved into a for-Profit corporation with over 2 Billion users and Billions of advertising revenues. They are an International Corporation which owns multiple rival platforms, which is a violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, which prevents against Monopolies. Today, Facebook is somewhat of a humanitarian effort to provide Internet access to third-world countries, and to spread Awareness about wrongdoings. It is also, the biggest source of News Outlets in the entire World. You can share ANYTHING on Facebook, there have been little to no rules, period. Facebook has been accused more than once, of influencing political elections worldwide.
Fake News isn't even news articles anymore. Its memes. Pictures speak 1,000 words. Anybody can make a picture, and put words on it and with the right combination, you can get someones attention for a brief moment, put a thought into their head, and within 30 seconds they are off to the next picture. This is done over and over thousands of times a day to program people to think a certain way and to follow a certain agenda. If your meme hits the right way, you might strike gold and someone shares it with their friends. Now their audience is your audience, and then their friends share it and your audience expands hundreds of times with each new share, you have breached new networks you had no access to before.
Fake News & Propaganda Memes have gotten so bad that “Fact Checking” services had to be created specifically to combat the out of control problem of spreading misinformation and outright blatant lies. Over time the fact checking services have developed into censorship tools for Fake News outlets to silence dissidents. If there is ONE statement out of 100 made that cant be 100% corroborated it will be covered and hidden until you VERIFY that you have read why it may not be true before you even see it. This power to silence opposition has been exploited and is now a fact Blocking technique. Other articles will be MOSTLY false and will not be censored or hidden, hence the obvious risk of the service being exploited by non neutral operators. How come there are no Disclaimers before we view TV News? Alot of it is questionable and even if its 99% right, we are led to believe it should be censored from view, because 1% inaccurate means it should be hidden, yet it isn't. Instead its featured and promoted, even though its frequently incorrect, and heavily opinionated.
Once you start to piece together that the same people are in charge of everything you will see high risk of manipulation. CNN, Washington Post, NYTimes, Facebook, Facebook Fact Checkers, MSNBC, MicroSoft all work together on one side to PROGRAM you however they see fit. FoxNews is a rival who has a different bias. They are pro America, pro-Trump, pro-religion, conservatives who tend to portray themselves as neutral, for appeal. They are not neutral, none of the Cable News outlets are. Neither are the News outlets controlled by the Big 6 Corporations (Which is actually 4 now, see how fast things are changing?)
What's the problem with a news station having an opinion? There isn't. Opinion pieces are labeled as such in newspapers. This is an op-ed, opinion-based article, the views and statements of the author may not match our values. It will still be printed and shared as legit news, even though its an OPINION, by someone who has an agenda which is for YOU to follow their beliefs, and to continue following the author/outlet. There are no disclaimers made before a Cable News show, there are no hidden screens to click to view the message, there are no apologies for outright lies or misinformation. Its up to a rival network to call them out for lies, and to expose the truth. Unfortunately, they usually counter rivals with their own half-truths as well. “Its not enough for you to know that CNN is fake news, you must watch Fox News now, we are the truth.” They should just expose the lie, and replace the argument with facts, rather than a rival opinion.
Eventually, rather than realize that the majority of picture/Video news you see on TV or the computer or your phone is fake news propaganda, you instead choose to align yourself with your preferred fake news of choice rather than turn off the fake news altogether. Eventually you become PROGRAMMED to legit HATE other people whose views differ yours, they are fake news, they must be dumb to believe those lies. What about you yourself being dumb for believing your preferred lies? All the other person has done is choose to accept their preferred source of lies, they have their own program, just like you. “Your news is fake!” “No, your news is fake!” Yet no one ever comes together and says “Wow, they are both fake. Lets boycott them both.” Think deeply on this last paragraph.
What would happen without CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, etc. to think for us? We might start to think for ourselves, and that's dangerous to the powers that be. Thankfully, MOST of the general population is still literate and mostly capable of comprehension and analysis. Most is not all though. Some people have gone so long without critical thinking and analyzing thing for themselves they are incapable of forming their own opinions outside of their programmed behavior. MSM uses this to their advantage by TELLING you what someone said, rather than showing you what they said. Rather than just show the news, they have to hide the news and show you a clip of it that fits their agenda. This is where the fake news happens. The actual news is misquoted, used out of context and shortened to match the theme of the newscast.
Millions of people think Donald Trump told foreign-born congresswomen to “go back to your own country” or “Go back to where you came from”. They SWEAR they saw Trump say this, that those are his actual words, that that is factual news. If you believe it yourself, pull up a “full text transcript” of the statement made. You will find that the actual quote by Trump was “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. ” followed by a tweet reading “So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world, now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.”
What a big difference, see how this was misquoted, taken out of context and used to push the “Trump is a racist agenda”? Technically, Trump asked them why don't they go back to their countries? That's correct. The actual factual news is “Trump challenges Congresswomen to fix their own economies first.” A fact-based opinion on this situation could be “Prove the plan works, and maybe we can work it.”That would, in my opinion, be more factual than saying “Trump told them to go back to where they came from, how racist!” They should have just shown the full video, no commentary necessary. Full-context quotes and full unedited video speak for themselves. We're getting a reporter describing their “opinions” on what the words that were said meant, rather than reporting the actual news and letting us form our own opinion.
The Fake News is “Donald Trump makes racist remark”. That is an opinion-based statement, that is very lacking in factual evidence, from THIS specific article. They use this tactic 100 times over and eventually you believe “Trump is a racist”, the designated agenda. They piggyback this misquoted opinion on another misquoted opinion and another misquoted opinion, and eventually there is all this “circumstantial evidence”. There is now a controlled narrative which has been created through Fake News, that the general public believe are facts even when prompted with direct video evidence or full text transcripts stating otherwise. The Sheep are Asleep. #WakeUp from the #SunkenPlace.
Other current agendas you may have been programmed to believe are “Trump/Biden are rapists, white people are to be blamed for random police officers killing random black people, Christians are hateful, if you leave your house without a mask on someone you know can and will die, all Americans are racists since before birth, all founding fathers were slave owners, all founding fathers fought for slavery, the Southern Democrats didn't declare war against the US in pursuit of continuing slavery, the Democrats didn't start the KKK, the Democrats didn't start Jim Crow laws, the Democrats didn't suppress black votes, David Duke of KKK only donated to Trump and not Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton can do no wrong, youre all deplorable,if you dont vote for Biden youre not black, Black people don't vote Republican, gay people don't believe in God, gay people don't vote Republican, Latins don't vote Republican, 3rd party votes are a waste of time, legal immigration is oppressive, all police are murderers, having no police will stop crime, destroying American statues/monuments/memorials has to do with a racial equality movement” How about “Hamilton, an all black and Latin lead cast, performing a play adapted from a book about actual history, where the main characters fight oppression from a foreign tyrannical monarchy, written by a Latino from NY about a Caribbean Immigrant from NY, is somehow racist.” The programs are endless. Many of what I just stated are clearly not true. That's why you need to be PROGRAMMED into accepting them as fact when they are either opinions, or outright falsehoods.
It is your duty as an informed human being who is capable of spreading mass amounts of information/misinformation, even through basic conversation, to research things that you are told, or pictures you see. Research, verify, confirm, validate; pick your preference. If you don't confirm it first, don't spread it to others. When someone tells you something, question it. What is the source? Is there another source? A) a second source is necessary to confirm its true. B) A second source will not print the same word for word article, due to copyrights. So you will have different explanations or different views from different sources. There may be contradicting evidence to what you told me. You are taking what I said as Fact, but its not fact until YOU personally confirm it.
Next time you have a conversation and someone says “Did you hear....” Respond with “No, I didn't hear that. Where did you hear it from and did you confirm it?” If they cant answer either question, change the conversation, and be wary of trusting that person for information again. If it turns out to be true, let them know “I looked up what you said. USA Today confirmed most of it, but they said this part that's different from what you told me.” You are doing your part to confirm information before spreading it, you are doing your part to #StopTheSpread of Fake News. You are also educating the person on how what they HEARD might not be accurate and that they should confirm it themselves.
There are a few very important things to take away from this article. The Government & Corporations manipulate and suppress free thought and free will to push their political agendas. The CIA have agents as news anchors since before Cable and Internet. You are being programmed to think/feel a certain way, and how to treat others, ranging from positive to negative based on whatever the agenda is. News Outlets purposely give you their opinion or description of real life, rather than show you actual footage of speeches/quotes.
You must confirm and second source all news you wish to accept as true. Its not a bad idea to purposely try a rival point of view, to see both sides of an issue. You must stop sharing articles you haven't read based off of clickbait. The most reliable news source is YOUR own eyes. Find and watch the whole video, if its not available, question why it's not fully available, and why you are only seeing one part of it, and blame the source of the article for not viewing the whole video or for purposely hiding the whole video. Look up ACTUAL quotes from another source, compare and contrast. Start treating news as a suggestion box meant to control your mind, and debate on whether you want to be controlled, and use the SUGGESTIONS to verify through other sources.
Play it safe, you are a target. The easier you are manipulated, the MORE you will be manipulated. The bigger your manipulation audience becomes, the algorithms send more propaganda your way since you are gullible enough to click share without reading or confirming, based off your preprogramming. You are a target, a walking, breathing source of unverified misquotes and opinions that weren't your own until you were programmed to think that way.
Free thought is a beautiful thing, and a requirement for any future at all as human beings free from Corporate oppression. Critical thinking and analysis are necessary to continue to exist as educated beings. #WalkAway from #MSM.
